UA MIS Wordmark

FAQ

What is the duration of the campaign?

The campaign will span 5 years.  It is broken down into phases.  Currently, we are in Phase I, which consists of targeted organization-specific mini-campaigns.  These campaigns will be used for benchmarking and also for preparing for the broader scale campaign that will be launched in 2010 as part of Phase II.

What is the overall target of the campaign?

The campaign goal is to reach $7.5M in 5 years.  The portion of the campaign targeting alumni has a goal of $1.8M.  The $1.8M will also include any matching funds that organizations contribute along with their employees’ contributions.

How will I know how the campaign is doing in reaching its goals?

After the mini-campaigns (Phase I) are completed in late 2009, the progress will be communicated with the public via the Capital Campaign website.

How were the organizations participating in the mini-campaigns chosen?

These organizations have a high volume of alumni currently employed.  Having a large pool of alumni for the initial campaign is vital for benchmarking.

Why have I been contacted by the campaign team about updating my contact information?

Having a correct alumni database is not only important for the capital campaign, but also for having a way to contact you for many events that are held.  We feel there are many ways alumni can participate in the current on-goings of the MIS program that can be beneficial to both you and our current students.

Who should I contact if I want to get involved?

The campaign leadership team is comprised of students, therefore, each semester the contacts may change.  To get the current contact information for the leadership team, please visit the ‘Contact Us’ page of the website.
